About Dr. Paschall
Dr. Walter J. Paschall is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in Advanced Surface Ablation Refractive Surgery (Vision Correction), a safe alternative to contact lenses or glasses allowing you to enhance your vision and your quality of life. Dr. Paschall’s eye care center is conveniently located in Jasper GA and serves the Northern Georgia communities of Cherokee, Pickens, Forsyth, and Gilmer counties and areas in Tennessee. He has successfully completed extensive training in the field of ophthalmology and eye care.
Prior to opening his practice in Georgia, Dr. Paschall worked in Ft. Hood, Texas, where he specialized in refractive surgery and performed over 5000 procedures for members of the United States Armed Forces.
Dr. Paschall’s extensive training began at Oklahoma Baptist University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Baylor University College of Medicine. Upon completion of Flight Surgeon School at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University Medical Center. In 1983, Dr. Paschall fulfilled his fellowship in Anterior Eye Surgery at Humana-St, Luke’s Hospital and Blaydes Eye Clinic in Bluefield, West Virginia.
